Ink It Up!

I am so excited to share this video about CTMH's pigment ink pads and Alcohol based markers. I have loved using the Alcohol markers to get beautiful colored images. I think you will love them too. The card shown left was scrap-lifted from Christine Adams. The flower was stamped with the Love Blooms stamp set and then I colored it in with using Honey, Smoothie and Sorbet markers and their complementary colors. Watch this short video and then head on over to my website to order your own Alcohol based markers.

The Ones I Show Grandma {Utah Childrens Photographer}

Yesterday I shared some of the "outtakes" from my own kids' back to school session. Today I wanted to share some of the wall worthy shots. There is an old adage that says "The shoemaker's kids never have shoes." It is sad that it has taken me so long to get pictures of my own kids taken this year. I am glad that I didn't let the time slip by and longer. They change so fast and I want to capture and preserve every moment. Now I can't wait to get scrapbooking these pictures and get them in albums and on the wall so they can be enjoyed. It is just as bad to let our pictures get lost and forgotten in digital oblivion as it is not to take them at all.

Outtakes! {Utah Children Photographer}

I have been taking lots of back to school pictures. I have to say I LOVE working with individuals. It is so fun to capture their personality.  Because I have been so busy I haven't had an opportunity to take my own kids' pictures until this past long weekend (thank you UEA).  I took the kids to a new location to try it out and we had a great time. I have plenty of great shots that are wall worthy (I will share some in a future post) but I also had some great shots that capture the goofy and silly spirit of each of my kids. The perfectly posed picture rarely shows a lot about a person. Now the candid picture, on the other hand, tell a more complete story! Enjoy!

M Kids {Logan Utah Kids Photographer}

Wow! Does this little gal have the most gorgeous eyes or what! I had a blast taking pictures of these two cute kids. It is fun to discover and capture each unique spirit with every photo session!

This little man is so handsome! He is the most serious guy I have ever met. I had to make a complete fool of myself to get these sweet smiles. Totally worth it!

Thanks for checking out my work. If you are in need of family, individual, maternity, newborn or senior photos in the Cache Valley area give me a call or drop me an email!

Great to be Eight! {Utah Children Photographer}

  I think my favorite sessions are when I get to work with an individual one on one. I enjoyed photographing this little lady. The location was as gorgeous as the subject. There is such a wonderful spirit at the LDS temple grounds.

  After we finished up with big sister I was able to photograph this little man. He is a charmer. Here are a few of my favorites.
