This week's theme is something yellow. I captured this picture of two of my girls during scriptures the other night. I thanked Mikele for planning ahead and wearing something yellow for me. ;) I love to see my kids help each other out. Mikele is a natural nurturer. She has always been so good with younger kids and babies. She will be a great mother.
What did you capture that was yellow? Next week's theme is "Fireworks."

52 Week Photo Project - Week 25: Father's Day
Happy Father's day to the amazing men in each of our lives! This is a picture I took of my Dad a few years ago. My Dad and I are alike in so many ways - we are both opinionated, strong willed, stubborn, passionate and determined. We both like to joke and tease and can strike up a conversation with pretty much anyone. We also are both very analytical and logical. Of course being so much alike made it very entertaining growing up but now we are very good friends and have a lot of respect for each other. I am also my Dad's favorite daughter!!! Don't believe me? Check out his tie. Yes that is pictures of me all over it. ;)
Who did you capture on this special day? Add your picture below. Next week's theme is "Something Yellow."

52 Week Photo Project - Week 24: Backyard
I am out of town this week so I will have to take and add this picture next week but I am excited to see your pictures of your backyard. We love our backyard and after working on it over the last couple of years we are really enjoying our space.
Update: This would have been a great picture for "something yellow" as well. The picture does the sunset no justice. I took this photo just after a rainstorm up in the Willow Flats area. I love that the mountains are in my "backyard." Just a short drive away I can be communing with nature and enjoying the great outdoors.
Next week's theme is "Father."

Handsome Toddler {Utah CHildren Photographer}
Oh I had the most fabulous time photographing this charming little 2 year old! He was such a character and tease. I was constantly trying to catch those wiggly little toes and he thought it was SOOOO funny. We were both laughing all through the session. The key to a successful toddler session is to:
- Pick a time for the session when your toddler is the happiest.
- Show the toddler your camera and what it does. I like to take a picture of their mom and show them the picture on the camera.
- Be patient and make it fun so you can capture genuine expressions
- Know when to be done. The toddler will let you know they are done and call it good.
Here are a few more favorites from the session.
I think this is one of my very favorites! He was so cute posing for me.

2. June Stamp of the Month: I love this Summery stamp set and it's perfect for getting creative. I attached a picture of a card that my dear friend Karen sent to me. You'll notice that the background to the card Karen created (picture attached) was made by stamping one of the outline stamps randomly in Whisper. She also only added a pop of color by coloring the center of the flower with our awesome Alcohol-Based Markers. I wanted to show you that you can stay simple with this set even though it is a lined stamp set, or you can get really creative and color everything in. Picture of the set is attached. It's only $5 ($17.95 value) with a $50 purchase. And, if you are already taking part in the "Banner Month" special above, you are half way there! But, never fear...check out #3 and #4 below and they will help you easily get to that $50 mark (AND the money you spend on them will also be donated to some worth charities!). If you are ordering on my website, and spend the $50 (before shipping and tax), you'll be prompted to add this set before you check out for only $5.
CTMH Products used on the card made with the June Stamp of the Month: June Stamp of the Month, Black Cardstock, White Daisy Cardstock, Whisper Cardstock, Sky Cardstock, Whisper Stamp Pad, Black Stamp Pad,Sky Exclusive Marker Duo, Slate Polka Dot Washi Tape, Stardust Glitz Glitter Gel.

3. Military Stamp Sets: Let’s Get Patriotic—Stamp Style!
With Flag Day, Independence Day, Pioneer Day (here in Utah), and more right around the corner, now is the perfect time to celebrate military service and promote patriotism with these three new patriotic stamp sets.
Order them easily on my website with the following numbers: Home of the Brave (D1576), Strong and Free (Canada set, D1575) and Courage (B1437).
4. "Thank You" Continues to Support Oklahoma: If last month's tornadoes in Oklahoma was devastating. Close To My Heart has created a way to help! They are donating all profits from the sale of this brand new stamp to the Red Cross Efforts toward the Oklahoma tornadoes through June 30. This stamp is just $2.95, and you can easily order it here. I love that price point because it allows you to order one for yourself and extra for your friends. All the while knowing that you are helping the people in this storm-torn area.
So you see, as great as the National Scrapbooking Month specials were in May, CTMH made sure that June didn't come along and pale in comparison! I love being part of a company that cares so much for others!
What's the moral of this post today? You can easily take advantage of FOUR PROMOTIONS: Spend $50 (including one A-E stamp set), get the FREE My Creations Banner ($5.95 value), get the June Stamp of the Month for $5 ($17.95 value), add a Patriotic Stamp set or two to your order as well as the Thank You for Oklahoma (both of which can count toward your $50) and you will enjoy doing the following:
- Helping our troops with the donations made from your Patriotic stamp set purchases
- Helping Oklahoma with your Thank You purchase
