January Studio J class
I had so much fun scrapbooking these pictures of my kids. Oh how they have grown up. The baby in the layout is 5 already!!! These little moments playing in the back yard enjoying a summer afternoon would be lost without my scrapbooks. It doesn't even take much time with Studio J to preserve these memories in a format that all can enjoy for years to come.
We will be creating this layout at the monthly Studio J class on Wednesday, January 20th. This class is online and free of charge. You do need to RSVP and get your layout information so you are ready for the class. Email or call me by 6:00 pm on Tuesday, January 19th if you would like to participate.
Don't forget about the great promotion going on right now for Studio J members. When you order 9 layouts you get the 10th layout FREE!!! Details here.

My oldest daughter is 8 years old! For us it is a significant birthday. It is the time when we are able to make the choice to join the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints by choosing to be baptized. My daughter has made the choice to be baptized and I am so proud of her. I took the opportunity to take pictures of her for the announcement that we sent out to friends and family. I wanted to share some of my favorite pictures from her photo session. It was a clear and gorgeous day. The only down side was that it was FREEZING! She was a trooper and didn't complain once. Her only request was that she have some hot chocolate when we got home.

Roxie Workshop Class
This month we will be playing with the Roxie workshop on the go kit and coordinating accessories as well as the Wonderland kit and accessories. (I will post the wonderland layouts soon.) These layouts were inspired by my dear sister Lynette Kankamp. What's not to love about this trendy and sassy paper packet? (they remind me of Lynette) I love that although all three layouts have a very different feel, I used the same set of supplies on all three.
Here is the shopping list. Don't forget to order your kit by the 5th if you would like to participate in the class. As an added bonus, with your $25 order you can also get the "Rock the Block" promotional set for just $15. With a $50 order ($35 order + $15 for the Rock your block set) you can pick up the stamp of the month for just $5! Order online or by contacting me.

Rock The Block Ideas
Rock the Block campaign is in full swing! I wanted to share with you some amazing artwork from some fellow Close To My Heart consultants. There is some serious talent among the CTMH community! Check out what they have done: (just click on their names to see their blog post)
First up is Brenda Rose. She took the blocks out of the box to create her gorgeous home decor item. She didn't want the box to go to waste so she made a shadow box picture frame. Thank you Brenda for sharing your beautiful work!
Up next is Christine David. She made ornaments with her blocks. This are so cute! We have a tradition at our house to give the kids an ornament each year and I think I am going to make these for my kids. What a great gift!
Angela Garcia also made a home decor item. She maximized on all 6 sides to create a decoration for 6 different holidays. Wow the possibilities are just endless!
Ok one more. Gina Brandstetter made a great photo collage of her family. What a fun coffee table decoration.
Well my creative juices are flowing! Just as a reminder of how the promotions works, when you place a minimum order of $25 from the Autumn/Winter 2011 idea book, you can get two valuable new products for just $15: the My Creations collage cubes (a Spring/Summer 2012 sneak-peek product!) and the exclusive My Acrylix Rock the Block E-size stamp set (available only during this promotion). This Rock the Block promotion represents a retail savings of almost $30! You can order these items from my website or by contacting me directly. (iotamaker@gmail.com 435.787.0125)

Gift a Gift of Memories
The gift-giving season can be an uplifting time of merriment and joy... but it can also feel a bit hectic. It’s nice to know you can count on Studio J® to help you give meaningful gifts that don’t require a lot of time or money. Here are a few ideas to simplify your life and save time for both the giver and the receiver.
- Make one family layout and print multiple copies for everyone. (Time: 15–45 minutes) With Studio J, printing extra copies of a layout is as simple as changing the quantity on the checkout screen. Or, if you prefer, create one layout, then copy it into a new project as many times as you like and customize it for each recipient.
- Give a Studio J 5-pack along with a Quick Pic™ album. (Time: 5 minutes) Since a 5-pack includes free layouts, free shipping, and free Memory Protectors®, it’s everything they’ll need to create a finished album!
- Present a loved one with a 3-month Studio J membership. (Time: 5 minutes) A 3-month membership costs just $30 US / $33 CAN and is the perfect way to help someone “get their feet wet” with Studio J and give them complete access to a product you love. Combine it with a 5-pack to make it an extra-special stocking stuffer!
So put on the holiday music, pour yourself some eggnog, and pull out your holiday gift list. Studio J is a great way to help you give the gift of memories—without taking much time!

Family Photography Cache Valley Utah
Well this photo session almost didn't happen. The day before we had a gorgeous snow storm. By the morning of the session it had cleared up but was rather chilly outside. In fact the mom called and cancelled the session. She called me back about 10 minutes later and it was back on. I am glad we went ahead with the session because it was absolutely gorgeous! Oh and I must say these kids could all be models.
