Look who is turning One!!!

I can hardly believe that my sweet girl Allie is turning ONE!!!

Oh she is so excited too!

What have you got there Allie? Your birthday party invitation?

Thank you Allie!

I found this cute card on the CTMH bulletin board and it comes from my fellow teammate, Pam Jarrett. I also found another similar style on Lisa Stenz's blog, a fellow CTMH consultant. So I took the ideas from both and made my own.
Here are the cutting instructions for the flower pot and insert.
1. Cut a piece of cardstock to 3 1/2 x 9 inches.
2. Score at 2 inches and 5 1/2 inches.
3. Bend the 2 inch section forward and the larger section back.
4. Keeping the card folded at the bottom, place your card on the trimmer with the 2 inch score line even with the track and the bottom edge of the pot at the 1/2 inch mark on the right. Trim, turn your card over and repeat.
5. Cut an insert 2 1/2 x 4 1/2. Cut an inner piece 2 1/4 x 4 1/4. Adhere
6. Tie a ribbon completely around the top rim of the flower pot. DO NOT ADHERE THE SIDE OF THE POT.
7. Attach flowers to the top of the insert taking care to leave the bottom of the flowers free to hang over the edge of the pot.
8. Embellish.

I love those projects that look complicated and elaborate but are really slick and easy! Enjoy!!

  1. DARLING card. DARLING baby. Where did the time go? Wasn't I just holding her at our Pacemaker/Red Heart Express CPR Leadership Conference as a newborn? That can't have been too long ago. I'm definitely getting OLD!
